A barn on the Eemslandweg in Zwartemeer was completely burned down this afternoon. Up to the wider area, smoke clouds could be seen.
The fire broke out around 1.45 pm. Many people came to the fire. The fire wrapped around so quickly that nothing could be saved for the fire brigade and the barn was totally destroyed.
The fire brigade has extinguished the fire. Nobody was injured. The Eemslandweg is completely closed by the police and bystanders are kept at a distance with police ribbon.
