No formal dinner in gala dress, but a breakfast table full of carrots, muffins and cucumbers. In the Theater and Filmhuis Dakota in The Hague, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima joined a special freedom meal on Monday morning. In the midst of singing children, steaming soup bowls and stories about hope and perseverance, they celebrated 80 years of freedom together with the neighborhood.
