After more than two months of injury, Felix Nmecha is in front of his comeback at Borussia Dortmund. According to coach Niko Kovac, the 24-year-old should at least be part of the squad again on Saturday (3:30 p.m./Sky) at SC Freiburg.
“He trained with the team again today and he will train with the team again tomorrow,” said Kovac on Thursday. NMECHA had failed due to a ligament injury since the end of January. Kovac threatens a defense problem for this: Yan Couto and Nico Schlotterbeck are blinded, in the central defense, Niklas Süle would be considered as Schlotterbeck replacement under normal circumstances, but the 29-year-old suffered a “painful hematoma” on the last Sunday at Mainz 05.
