The British shoe provider Dr. Martens PLC takes the next step in Austria. After the traditional company opened its first own shop in the country in the capital in Vienna last year, the first outlet store followed. The new opening marks “the next milestone of the brand expansion”, the company said on Tuesday.
With the McArthurglen Designer Outlet in Parndorf, the McArthurglen shopping center east of Vienna, Dr. Martens claims to be “one of the largest and most popular outlet malls in Austria” as a location. There, the brand now offers “a wide selection of iconic boots, shoes and accessories at attractive prices” on an area of more than 114 square meters.
