40% of car owners believe that it has become more profitable to sell used cars during the pandemic

In a survey of residents of 15 large cities, it turned out that a third of the respondents are sure that in a year or two they will be able to sell their car at a higher price than now.

10,000 motorists aged 18 to 60 took part in the Avtoteka survey.

Thus, 29% of respondents believe that in a year or two they will be able to sell your car for a better price27% said they would sell it for the same money, 22% of respondents said that selling the car would already become less profitable.

40% of study participants believe that after the 2020 pandemic, selling a car has become more profitable for owners. At the same time, 24% are sure that the car can be sold at about the same price.

Answering the question about the reasons forcing owners to sell or think about selling a car, the majority answered that they intend to buy another car (24%). Another 22% noted that their car was morally and functionally outdated. 20% of respondents can afford to buy a new car instead of a used one.

At the same time, the majority of owners (55%) choose to sell a car through an ad site, 14% – by “trade-in” through a car dealership or dealership, 7% – through acquaintances, 5% – through a car dealership or dealership, without the “trade-in” service. in”.
