The Würzburger Kickers have parted ways with coach Danny Schwarz. As the bottom of the table in the 3rd soccer league announced on Thursday, youth leader Ralf Santelli will take over the training with immediate effect. The 53-year-old will remain head coach until the end of the season. Santelli will be on the bench for the first time in the home game on Saturday (2:00 p.m.) against MSV Duisburg.
The Würzburger have been without a win for eleven games. Danny Schwarz (46) worked for FC Bayern Munich in the junior division for nine years. In mid-October he replaced coach Torsten Ziegner in Würzburg after a poor start to the season.
