2nd League: Hertha BSC loses to HSV – long break due to fan protests

Quote from RhinoMayola

Regardless of the game and its quality between two traditional clubs: first of all, congratulations to HSV, because overall they deserve it. There was far too little from Hertha (on the pitch).

But thanks to the two fan scenes and the respective actions! Of course the event fans and commentators complain that this sort of thing is annoying: but that’s exactly what it’s supposed to do!

Everyone has gotten used to the few minutes spent collecting gold coins, bouncy balls and tennis balls. But the active fan scene has to disrupt in order to attract attention. Otherwise nothing ever happens!

The fact that the commentators Küpper and especially Tusche, as wannabe traditionalists, are so annoyed and don’t understand the background at all says enough!

The two smart guys celebrate the HSV fans because they honor Bernstein’s values, but at the same time they condemn the actions of the BSC Ultras. This stinks of double standards!

Go ahead and let the DFL and its supporters choke on their greed! As far as I’m concerned, let’s destroy every game until the spook comes to an end. German football and especially the 2nd Bundesliga, steeped in tradition, remain risk capital. Thank you Hertha!!! And every “fan” who leaves now is a step in the right direction and unattractive for all investors. Because strangely enough, the blocks away from the event fans are still full.

Do you really think anyone cares when a few one-dimensional people who consider themselves the guardians of purity in football throw objects onto the pitch to express their displeasure with something they don’t know at all?

No, the average fan rolls his eyes upwards, waves him off and is ashamed of the childish behavior.

The funniest thing, however, is that you “insult” the “others” as event fans, even though the real “event fan” is actually the Ultra, who makes a spectacle of presenting themselves as an “event” as part of a football game…

Imagine that fans and a good atmosphere in stadiums existed long before rehearsed choreos or the useless burning of pyrotechnics and it’s not really an expression of support for the club, but pure self-dramatization…
