Thomas Wüstefeld has resigned from his posts as CFO and interim boss at the second division soccer team Hamburger SV. This was announced by the table leader on Wednesday evening.
Wüstefeld, whose integrity was recently questioned, informed the supervisory board of his decision at an extraordinary meeting. “The supervisory board accepted the decision and decided unanimously that Jonas Boldt (sports director; ed.) will initially be the sole director of HSV’s operational business,” said the HSV announcement.
Boldt: “I am aware of the responsibility”
“I am aware of the responsibility and will tackle the upcoming tasks in very close cooperation with my colleagues in the office as well as with the Supervisory Board and especially with the Finance Committee,” said Boldt.
