2. Bundesliga: HSV cements Arminia Bieleld’s false start – BTSV without a point

KSC turns game against Sandhausen

Hamburger SV has secured their third win in four games in the 2nd Bundesliga and has climbed to third place, at least for the time being. The North Germans prevailed 2-0 (1-0) at Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday. The Bundesliga relegated team is penultimate after four matchdays without winning a point. HSV, on the other hand, drew level on points with leaders SC Paderborn and second place 1. FC Heidenheim. Eintracht Braunschweig also conceded their fourth defeat in the fourth game. The promoted team lost 0:3 (0:1) at Holstein Kiel. The Kielers are currently fourth in the table with eight points. SV Sandhausen conceded two late goals in the 2:3 (1:1) at Karlsruher SC and slipped down to ninth place.

HSV cements Arminia false start – record for substitute Megeed

Hamburger SV celebrated their third win of the season in the league and exacerbated Arminia Bielefeld’s sporting crisis. Tim Walter’s team won 2-0 (1-0) away and underlined their Bundesliga ambitions. Bielefeld, on the other hand, could not end its negative series and deservedly lost. Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer (28th minute) and Lászlo Bénes (74th) scored for HSV, who is third with nine points behind Paderborn and Heidenheim.

The hitherto undefeated Jahn Regensburg could still pass in Sunday’s game. Arminia, on the other hand, remained without a win for the fourth time in a row. Coach Uli Forte’s team has been without a win in home games since February 19 across all leagues.

In front of 26,875 fans, Königsdörffer used a major mistake by Bielefeld’s central defender Oliver Hüsing to take the lead. For a long time there was far too little from Arminia in the game structure. The hosts were even lucky not to fall further behind when Mario Vuskovic hit the bar just before the break.

Only in the second half did Arminen have chances to score through Masaya Okugawa (48′) and Frederic Jäkel (72′). But HSV ruined the good Bielefeld phase with the 2-0 with a full 20-meter shot by substitute Benes. Substitute Omar Megeed, who was just 16 years old, celebrated a record. He is now the youngest professional in HSV history.

Double pack from Holstein Kiel’s Skrzybski: BTSV still without a point in the 2nd Bundesliga

Holstein Kiel has increased Eintracht Braunschweig’s concerns, the Schleswig-Holsteiners won 3-0 (1-0) against the promoted team. The Braunschweigers remain at the bottom of the table without points or goals even after the fourth matchday. In front of 11,575 fans, Steven Skrzybski laid the foundation for Kiel’s second win of the season with his goals in the 12th and 73rd minutes.

The guests were unimpressed by the negative series in the first few minutes. In the fourth minute, Immanuel Pherai steered the ball to the hosts’ post. Kiel’s leadership came as a surprise. Skrzybski hit the post, from there the ball flew to the back of Eintracht goalkeeper Jasmin Fejzic and then into the goal.

The goal threw Braunschweig out of the concept, Kiel dominated. After the change, the Lower Saxony reared up. Luc Ihorst (49th) failed from a short distance at the outstanding reacting Kiel keeper Thomas Dähne. But Holstein caught himself and created more and more chances. Two of the strong Skrzybski (73rd) and Benedikt Pichler (82nd) used the final score. The substitution of newcomer Anthony Ujah (last Union Berlin) brought Braunschweig nothing more.

KSC-Joker Rapp and Cueto rotate the game against Sandhausen

Thanks to two late goals, Karlsruher SC celebrated their first win of the season. Coach Christian Eichner’s team won the Baden duel with SV Sandhausen 3-2 (1-1) and has four points after four matchdays. Previously, the KSC had only managed a sense of achievement in the DFB Cup at Oberliga Neustrelitz. Sandhausen has six points after two wins and two defeats in the league.

Former KSC pro David Kinsombi (10th minute) and Ahmed Kutucu (61st) put the SVS ahead twice in front of 14,778 spectators. Malik Batmaz (32′) managed to make it 1-1 in the meantime, in the final phase the jokers Simone Rapp (84′) and Lucas Cueto (87′) turned the game around.

Kinsombi’s goal after his brother Christian’s assist was the perfect start for the guests, who were coached by former Karlsruhe coach Alois Schwartz. However, KSC was not deterred by this and, after a few missed chances, rewarded themselves with Batmaz equalizing, who placed a goal in the bottom right corner. In the second half, the hosts were initially the more active team, but were overcome by a long ball over the defense. KSC countered Kutucu’s technically fine goal with a double strike in the last few minutes: Rapp hit with a header, Cueto with a flick after a counterattack.
