Stop trains on the Vechtdal lines have been running three minutes faster than before between Zwolle and Emmen since this week, thanks to the opening of a second track in Emmen South. The time savings are made on the 600-metre-long extra track on which the local trains can cross each other instead of in New Amsterdam.
