The supporters of Zulte Waregem created some atmosphere in the otherwise empty and chilly King Baudouin Stadium. They were able to cheer early when Alioune Ndour put the 0-1 on the scoreboard after some weak defensive work by the Purple & White. That turned out to be the only goal of the match. The RSCA Futures had a few chances to equalize in the end, but goalkeeper Ortwin De Wolf and co. stood firm.
Zulte Waregem has had a disappointing 2024 so far, but after the victory in the King Baudouin Stadium, it is back in the fight for promotion. SVZW is currently third with 43 points from 25 games.
