Zulte Waregem wins with a forfait score against Seraing

With Seraing and Zulte Waregem, two teams faced each other that played in the highest football class last season. It was not clear that both teams had experience in 1A on Friday evening at the Stade du Pairay. It wasn’t until the second half that the engines started running. Experienced man Jelle Vossen (48.) kicked Essevee ahead from the spot. It took a while, but in the end Zulte wiped Seraing completely away. Ruud Vormer (81.) doubled the score, substitute Zinho Gano (84., 89., 90.+3) took care of the default score with a late hat-trick.

Essevee now has six points and settles next to Lommel and Genk U23. Zulte will be in 1st place on the basis of the goal difference.
