Zuidlaarder Spring Market makes a long-awaited comeback

After two years of outage due to corona, the Zuidlaarder Spring Market made its long-awaited comeback early this morning. This market can be regarded as a ‘small Zuidlaardermarkt’ and is the kick-off for horse markets in the Northern Netherlands.

169 animals were landed in 2019 and the same number looks set to be matched for this year. There is also a lot of interest from abroad. In between the clapping hands, a word of German regularly fell.

During the spring market, horses are not only traded, but there is also a commodity market. In the afternoon there are still activities for children, such as a panna cage tournament and shooting with bow and arrow. Due to all the relaxation, there are no longer any corona measures.
