Zuhal Demir’s approach raises questions within the Flemish government

Flemish Minister of Justice and Tourism Zuhal Demir (N-VA) is putting a planned construction subsidy for the celebration of 600 years of KU Leuven ‘on hold’. With that crowbar she wants to enforce more transparency at the university about a rape case in which one of her professors was convicted. A strong signal and an unprecedented way of working, which leads to dissatisfaction among coalition parties Open Vld and CD&V.
