Zoetermeren Members of the House of Representatives: these fellow citizens are standing as candidates in this election

Almost every Zoetermeer resident aged 18 and older can vote for (new) Members of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. During this election, seven Zoetermeer residents will stand for election.

A Member of Parliament must be at least 18 years old, have Dutch nationality and not be excluded from the right to vote. The House of Representatives consists of one hundred and fifty MPs.

House of Representatives

Some general information: the House of Representatives and its members are elected for four years. After that there will be new elections and therefore possibly other MPs. Sometimes MPs have a shorter term, for example if the cabinet resigns and new elections are held for the House of Representatives. That is the case this year.
