Zoetermeer’s hospital and skin clinic will be given a new name

The LangeLand Hospital and the LangeLand Skin Clinic have a new name due to the merger with the Haga Hospital.

For more than thirty years, people from Zoetermeer have been able to go to the LangeLand Hospital for emergency care, maternity care, operations, care and more. From 1 June we will do this at Haga Hospital Zoetermeer.

Name no longer visible

We say from now on I have an appointment at the Haga? It will take some getting used to, because people from Zoetermeer are so used to saying LangeLand when we talk about our hospital. In any case, you will hardly encounter the former name anymore: the facade board, stationery, the website, folders, posters and more bear the logo of Haga Hospital Zoetermeer. LangeLand Skin Clinic on the Europaweg is now called HagaHospital Skin Clinic.

For specific investigations into The Hague

Haga Hospital Zoetermeer is the result of a merger between Haga Hospital in The Hague and LangeLand Hospital. Some tasks are divided between both hospitals, we can still go to both locations for care. For specific examinations or specialized treatments, the patient is referred to Haga Hospital The Hague. In that case, the practitioner from Zoetermeer remains involved, according to the Haga Hospital in a press release.

New building

In addition to the name change, new construction plans are also on the agenda. The hospital building is outdated and so new accommodation is needed. This hospital will be future-oriented in terms of technology and appearance. We will keep you informed of the renovation plans.
