Ziekenhuikosten stijgen verder: a specialist who gives the supplement for a CT or MRI scan, is still available | landlocked

An opname in a ziekenhuis has become opnieuw duurder. A patient room costs 2,348 euros for the patient, a rate of 7.2 percent, which is the same as that of the Ziekenhuis barometer. Intussen steeds meer radiologists in Vlaanderen supplements of averaged 22 and 33 euros for a CT or MRI scan. “Terwijl ze zelfs geen Rechtstreeks contact hebben met de patiënt. Is there a need for a supplement then?”, suggests CM-voorzitter Luc Van Gorp.
