A rich mix of materials. Original and elegant. This is ZENGGI is few words. The SS22 collection includes a beautiful collection of textures and models that can be combined and worn endlessly. The color palette for 2022 consists of nude and cardboard colors, which symbolize a new beginning like a crackling blank sheet of paper.
new beginning
The starting point for the color palette was a “new beginning”. “The feeling of expectation, like a blank sheet of paper with which you can still do anything,” explains Kämena. “In this collection, for example, you can see nude and cardboard colors in all shades, with floral accents and a fine line design inspired by the first strokes on paper. Those colors move into the second batch where they get a bit fuller and more saturated, like Summer Camels, a skin tone we’ve dubbed Almond, and as an accent, Firefly, a bold orange-red.”
Nice and easy
The second delivery also includes many different fabric qualities, such as a blazer and trousers made of Japanese crepe, a newly developed, recycled polyester. Kämena: “The blazer is nice and loose and unstructured, almost like a blouse. The collection includes trousers made from a heavier linen viscose and new trousers styles with a cotton twill belt, which are perfect to combine with a well-tailored top, but also with an oversized shirt. There are knitted pieces made from organic cotton with beautiful details and pieces that are knitted in a special way. There are also cardigans made of light summer alpaca and a poplin artist shirt. An eye-catching design of two large dots stacked on top of each other draws all the colors together beautifully.”
Delivering in February 2022, ZENGGI’s SS22 collection is perfect to wear right away. The next spring and summer deliveries will follow in March and April.
