The Russian war of aggression against her homeland often brings tears to the eyes of the wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
That’s why she still cries “very often,” said Olena Selenska in an interview with the Spanish newspaper “El Mundo” (Thursday). “Today, during this interview, I might cry again. That happens to me very often,” says the 45-year-old. “After all, I’m human, I have feelings and I cry.”
It was even worse for them immediately after the Russian attack on Ukraine in February last year. “In the first days of the war, every attack hit me very hard. I even cried at official events,” said the trained architect. “It’s not that I’m hardened now, but I must make every effort to finish the story.”
