Zelensky thanked US intelligence, but declared confidence in Kiev’s data

Ukrainian intelligence has an understanding of what is happening on the borders of the country, its data in Kiev are trusted more than American ones. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in interview CNN.

“I am grateful for the work that both of our intelligence agencies have done. But the intelligence that I trust is my intelligence,” the President of Ukraine said.

Zelensky added that Ukrainian intelligence has different sources of intelligence information, it “understands different risks based on intercepted data.”

The President of Ukraine also assured that the country’s authorities “do not live in delusion” in connection with the fears of Western countries about a possible Russian invasion. “Just putting ourselves in coffins and waiting for the arrival of foreign soldiers is not something we are ready to do,” Zelensky said. According to him, Kiev’s foreign partners should increase investments in the Ukrainian economy and strengthen the country’s weapons.
