President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to the proposal of his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and is ready for negotiations, informed press secretary of the head of the Ukrainian state Sergiy Nikiforov on Facebook.
“Ukraine was and remains ready to talk about a ceasefire and peace. This is our permanent position. <...> Directly during these hours, the parties consult on the place and time of the negotiation process, ”he wrote on the social network.
Nikiforov noted that the sooner negotiations begin, the more chances there are to return to normal life.
