Cities including Mariupol on the Sea of Azov and Volnovakha in the Donetsk region have been completely destroyed by Russian attacks, according to Zelensky.
The Ukrainian army has liberated some 1,880 villages since the start of the war, said Kirilo Tymoshenko, President Zelensky’s deputy chief of cabinet.
