Zara has reopened its flagship store in Salzburg’s Europark after a break in renovation.
The store at the mall has been significantly expanded and now offers 3,000 square meters of retail space, which will stock the brand’s women’s, men’s and children’s collections, Zara announced on Thursday. There is also a separate department for the sportswear line Zara Athleticz, which was launched last September.
The architecture team at the clothing retailer, which belongs to the Spanish fashion group Inditex, developed a new store concept for the store. The store is divided into different areas according to collections such as Athleticz and, with its curved shapes, is a “homage to the world of fabrics and raw materials,” according to the statement.
App: reserve changing rooms, discover products and order them in the store
Of course, the integration of e-commerce should not be missing in this store either, so customers have automatic pick-up points for their online orders, self-service checkouts and areas for returns. The Zara app will also be linked to the store. Customers can use the “Store Mode” to discover products in the app that are available for collection within two hours. Other options of the app are the reservation of changing rooms and a finder for products in the store.
