After Lisanne de Bruin, Fenna Jagtman, Terrenc Griemink, Groen Geel will not have Carlo de Vries next season either. He makes the move to korfball neighbor Koog Zaandijk.
Where there is a considerable exodus at Groen Geel, Koog Zaandijk is very happy with the arrival of Carlo de Vries. De Zaankanter has a lot of experience at the highest level with four seasons of Groen Geel and the former youth international is a player from the area. De Vries himself says on the KZ site that he is also very pleased with the switch. “I see opportunities at KZ to further develop myself towards the top of the Netherlands.”
Last season, De Vries barely maintained himself with Green Yellow in the Korfball League. The team from Wormer won the nerve-racking play-down against Dalto. Koog Zaandijk did better last season with a sixth place in the ranking.
