There is no longer a rope to tie: first he does not want to sing folk songs anymore, then he does. First Yvonne’s juice is not right and now it is. Does André Hazes Jr. still have them listed?
André Hazes jr. himself does not seem to have the slightest idea of what he is shouting. Contradiction is now starting to be a bit middle name to become. Where he suddenly returned last month to his intention not to sing folk songs anymore, he now suddenly turns 180 degrees on the subject of Yvonne Coldeweijer.
’80 percent not true!’
One man’s death is another man’s bread: André’s downfall has made Yvonne great. Again and again her juice was about the folk singer spot-on. André who doesn’t have a burnout but has to get rid of the coke? Check. André who flies back to Schiphol at 5.15 pm? Check. André who is at odds with horror mom Rachel again? Check.
Yvonne was always right. But what did André say in his documentary last October? “A Life of Yvonne like that: she has spoken twice about me with certain things and she has – I really dare to say that and I can prove it with everything – 80 percent is not true. But everyone also believes that 80 percent, because the lady got it right twice.”
Rotated 180 degrees
From 80 percent lying to turning 180 degrees: André does it in a period of eight months. He says in it AD of this weekend: “The last year and a half has made me laugh a lot. Before then, I really hated that it was always about me, because it was true. And then it hits you, because you know you’re making a mess of it.”
There is now little juice about him, André agrees. “Whether it’s old stories, or things that aren’t true. Because I read that I would not live in Wilnis and rent out my house. That is not true.”
Rachel fight
Yet Yvonne keeps hot on the heels of the fallen folk singer: she was right about the argument with his mother Rachel and she recently revealed that there is a compulsory education case against him.
How are things going between André and Rachel? Bart Ettekoven last weekend in Shownieuws: “We spoke extensively to André yesterday about his single and he then told us that he had minimal contact with his mother.”

What does André say in AD about the troubles with his mother and sister? “You can’t force anything. Especially not me. I don’t have good contact with either of them, but I don’t have a fight with them and they do have that with each other. That makes it difficult.”
“I was in a lot of pain because of it, but I don’t care about it anymore. When I pick up my son from school and I see that smile on his head, nothing else counts.”
