Yvonne Coldeweijer should actually have started her daily program De Juice on Net5 this week, but according to TV authority Tina Nijkamp she escaped disaster. “38 thousand!”

It should actually have received a lot of media attention this week: the canceled program De Juice by Yvonne Coldeweijer. However, due to arguments behind the scenes – she did well as a juice queen but turned out to be a disaster as a TV maker – her TV career at Talpa was put to an end. And maybe that’s a good thing.

55 thousand viewers

The new eve of Net5 has gotten off to a dramatic bad start. The station started the new daily drama series Flo this week, at 7 p.m. It’s been heavily promoted, but it’s a ratings drama.

99,000 viewers watched the first episode on Monday evening, and last night that number was still 55,000. The market share in the commercial target group 20 to 54 years has also fallen, from 0.6 percent to 0.2 percent. “Ouch!” TV authority Tina Nijkamp shouts at her analysis channel.

Poor inflow

Flo would become the lead-in for De Juice. MasterChef is now on the program at 8 p.m. 53 thousand people watched it on Monday and 38 thousand people yesterday.

Tina: “Did Yvonne Coldeweijer escape a ratings disaster? Or did she actually score? I’m leaning towards the former with this influx,” she writes. “With such an influx, De Juice would not have exceeded 100,000. That program could never become a hit with or without Yvonne in this way. Impossible.”

Residential channel

What should Net5 do now? “If I were Net5, I would turn it into a home and lifestyle channel, with only home shows.”

Like? “vtwonen, Het Blok, House Rules, new living shows, etc. Dare to choose it. One hundred percent sure that the viewing figures will increase again.”
