Yvon Jaspers behaved like a kind of farmer’s bully in the kick-off of Farmer Searches for Woman last night. One of the farmers couldn’t hold it anymore after her vile cross-examination. “So rude!”
It seems as if Yvon Jaspers is really done with all those clumsy farmers. She was really mean to candidate Haico last night in the kick-off of Farmer Searches Woman, in which five new farmers introduced themselves. The poor man has never had a love affair and the presenter rubbed it very barbarically.
Never had a relationship
Haico moved to Denmark with his parents at the age of 13 and he still runs the farm together with them. Emigration was very difficult for him. “I may be a little quiet. I think more lacks the self-confidence of: am I doing it right? Am I saying the right things?”
Then Yvon asks him point-blank: “Do you have experience?”
Haico: “No, I’ve never had a relationship.”
‘How old are you?’
Completely unnecessary, Yvon asks again just to be sure: “Never?”

Yvon: “Not even a week?”
Jeez, is she going to countdown soon? No midweek? No day? No sunny afternoon? Haico excited: “No, not a week.”
Final blow
And then Yvon deals the final blow. Like a true farmer’s bully, she asks with a straight face: “How old are you?”
Haico looks uncomfortable, as if he doesn’t know whether he’s facing a friend or a bully: “42.”
Then he walks away, crying. The camera turns off for a moment. Yvon then: “You think that’s very bad.”
What an effect. Haico: “Fun is something else. I always thought: it will come. But at some point you wake up and you are 40. Then you think: yes…”
Nasty comment

‘Really antisocial’
Jane can’t believe it. “Don’t you have empathy then? Compassion? Just antisocial.”

Anders: “That was a k*top comment from Yvon! Just push that boy Haico to the ground when he said that he has never had a relationship and is already 42 or something… MY GOODNESS! This is just not good!”
