Yusuf Emir Bolat, a primary school student who was attacked with pepper gas by a cyclist who approached him while he was sitting on the pavement wearing a Trabzonspor jersey in Bursa, went to Trabzon to watch the match of his favorite team.
9-year-old Bolat, who is also a student at Trabzonspor Football School, will watch the TÜMOSAN Konyaspor match, which will be played in Trabzon tomorrow in the 12th week of the Trendyol Super League, from the stands with his mother Sonay Baş, upon the invitation of Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan.
Bolat, who is excited to watch the match from the stands, can’t wait to meet captain Uğurcan Çakır and Bakasetas, one of his favorite Trabzonspor football players.
Yusuf Emir Bolat said that he has always watched Trabzonspor matches on television until now.
Stating that he will watch the match of his favorite team from the stands for the first time, Bolat said, “I am very excited to go to Trabzonspor stadium. When I go to the match, I especially want to see Uğurcan Çakır and Bakasetas. I am going to Trabzon to realize my dream.” he said.
Mother Sonay Baş also recalled that her son had experienced a bad experience and said:
“I did not expect that they would support us this much. I would like to thank everyone who stood by us, especially Ertuğrul Doğan, the Trabzonspor Association officials here. Everyone, whether they knew us or not, stood by us. We came to our senses after the news that the suspect was caught 3 days later. Because Yusuf was very uneasy for 3 days. There were good developments afterwards. Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan invited Yusuf to the match. Our flight tickets were purchased, our hotel reservation was made. It was both my son’s dream and my dream. It is very proud to go this way. Thanks to my son, I will actually realize my dream of watching the match at the stadium. “We are very excited, happy and proud.”

Yusuf Emir Bolat, a 4th grade student of Sadi Etkeser Primary School, who was sitting with his friend on the sidewalk of the street where their house is located in Dikkaldırım District of Bursa’s Osmangazi district, on October 29, was attacked with pepper gas by a cyclist who approached him, and was discharged after a one-day treatment at the hospital.
Veysel İ, who was also a student at Trabzonspor Football School and attacked Bolat with pepper gas while he was wearing a Trabzonspor jersey. (31) was arrested by the court after he was caught. Trabzonspor Club also made a statement condemning the attack and announced that they would follow up the incident.
