YouTuber almost pays for risky ‘joke’ with his life, jury members have little sympathy for him

Tanner Cook (21) likes to trick passers-by and film their reactions for his YouTube channel. However, a risky ‘prank’ he pulled in April almost cost him his life. His target Alan Colie felt so intimidated that he unexpectedly fired a shot. The bullet landed at close range in Cook’s abdomen. However, an American jury now rules that the meal deliverer acted in lawful self-defense, so he is (largely) free for the use of his weapon. Images of the incident have also been released for the first time.
