Midfielder Tim van Loo has signed a contract with Telstar until the summer of 2026. The exponent from the youth academy has become a valued force this season at the first division club from Velsen-Zuid.
The 20-year-old Van de Loo joined Telstar’s youth academy in 2021. He came over from the South Holland Alphense Boys. Last season, Van de Loo was already regularly in the match selection, but a debut did not happen yet.
In the first match of the current season, the 1-0 away loss to Jong PSV, Van de Loo played his first minutes in the Telstar shirt. The midfielder was allowed to come on in the last fifteen minutes. Two weeks later, Van de Loo made his starting debut in the 3-1 loss against Jong AZ.
Basic place
Van de Loo now has 15 games, including 9 starting places. Also last Friday against Willem II he started from the first whistle. Van de Loo has not yet scored for Telstar.
Telstar will play its next match next Monday, December 4. Mike Snoei’s team will then visit Jong FC Utrecht.
