Work and training sentences
Research by the Public Prosecution Service shows that the girls attempted arson in eight different places in Alkmaar. The devastating mall fire was their last ditch effort.
The demand from the Public Prosecution Service (OM) for the oldest suspect is juvenile detention for 103 days, of which 90 days are conditional with a probationary period of two years. In addition, the Public Prosecution Service demands a training sentence of 50 hours and community service of another 50 hours.
