Amsterdam – While the Netherlands is voting for new municipal councils, the youth care sector, for which municipalities have been responsible since 2015, is on the barricades on Tuesday. Out of dissatisfaction, youth care workers stop working for 24 hours. The Zwolle alderman for Youth Michiel van Willigen understands this: “It is high time for a long-term vision.”
