In ‘Your Film of the Year’, Freek Braeckman (42) takes the viewer through the past news year of VTM NIEUWS. He does this on the basis of impressive images and interviews with well-known and lesser-known heads who played a special role in 2021. For example, there is Madeline Halleux, who spent no less than 11 hours on the roof of her house in Pepinster with her family during the flooding in Wallonia. Freek visited her again, and while he was interviewing her, they saw how looters still scour the Vesder valley.
