Young women were told to take off their clothes – underwear scandal in the Norwegian team: “They came back crying”

The women of the Norwegian United were shocked.

In the combined Norwegian national team, there has been an uproar about undressing, NRK news.

The team’s female athletes are outraged at how they had to stand in their underwear in front of an unknown man when the International Ski Federation Fis performed a mandatory 3D body scan on them.

Scan results are needed to determine the size of the jumpsuits.

The women did not like the fact that there was a man in the measurement room. They said they thought there would only be a female doctor. The man’s job was to operate a 3D scanning device.

Also national team manager Ivar Stuan was shocked by what had happened.

– Grown men watching young girls in skimpy clothes. We didn’t like it, Stuan said.

– The girls came back from there crying. This is a really sad situation for us and for me as a leader.

Competing in the combined team Ida Marie Hagen told about his experiences below. He did not dare to say anything during the testing itself.

– It affected us deeply. It’s weird when you suddenly feel like you’re losing control, Hagen said.

Fis competition boss Lasse Ottesen defended himself by announcing that all athletes were told about the male tester in advance.

– Due to time constraints, it was absolutely important that there were male and female testers so that we could get accurate readings, Ottesen said.

– All the other national teams accepted this, but Norway reacted to it when there was a man in the room.
