Terrible incident on the night of Christmas Day in Malchin (Mecklenburg-West Pomerania)!
There, between 10:30 p.m. and 11:15 p.m., a woman (23) was hit on Stavenhagener Straße – and the person who caused the accident simply ran away and committed a hit and run. The woman apparently died at the scene of the accident from her injuries.

The 23-year-old from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania was visiting her parents and left her parents’ house at around 10:30 p.m. to walk to a nearby discotheque. A short time later, the terrible accident must have happened. She was found dead many hours later.
According to the police, there is still no concrete information about the manufacturer and type of the fugitive’s car. “However, the vehicle must have damage in the front area, on the headlight or license plate,” said a police spokesman on Monday.

The police are now urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information about the accident or the vehicle involved.
