Kiki Musampa will be the new assistant coach at the Dutch Juniors. He succeeds Stijn Schaars. Musampa will remain head coach of Jong Volendam and will combine his work with Jong Oranje.
The 45-year-old coach has signed a contract until the European Championship in 2023. The head coach of Jong Oranje is Erwin van de Looi. At the end of September, Musampa will be on the field for the first time with the Van de Looi team. Then there are exhibition games scheduled against Young Belgium and Young Romania.
In December 2021, Musampa started working as head coach of Jong Volendam. As a footballer, he played for Ajax, Malaga, Manchester City and AZ, among others.
