Footballer Mitchel Bakker from Purmerend will play for the Dutch Juniors next week, which will play against Young Bulgaria and Young Switzerland. “It feels nice to be here with the boys again,” says Bakker.
As soon as the footballer is back in the Netherlands, he will visit his family Purmerend. “I don’t do anything special. I enjoy being with my family and friends.”

The 21-year-old Bakker transferred from Paris Saint-Germain to the German Bayer Leverkusen this summer. In the strong Bundesliga, the North Hollander is a fixed value as a left back. You can say that the Dutch national team beckons. “Of course you hope for that. I think everyone wants that. Louis has not called yet,” said a laughing Bakker.
