The tractor with trailer was driving in the Aartrijkestraat towards Torhout when the passenger car from the opposite direction, for unknown reasons, deviated from its lane. The vehicle collided head-on with one of the front wheels of the tractor. The wheel was torn loose and the car came to a stop against an apartment building.
