Young man assaulted in Minnewaterpark Bruges: police distribute search message

On Tuesday, October 26, 2021, the young man was whistled at around 9 p.m. by a man on the vests at the highest of the Minnewater Park in Bruges. When the boy asked what was going on, he was dragged into the park. There, the man felt various body parts of the victim. The boy tried to push the man away from him but was unable to.

Only when the man dropped to his knees, the victim was able to kick him at the level of the crotch and he was able to run away. According to the victim, it would be a man who is around 50 to 60 years old who speaks Dutch. He is about 1.80 meters long and ostrich built. He has short gray hair and wore black glasses with round lenses. The man was wearing a gray jacket and smelled of cigarettes. According to the victim, the man had a lot of strength.
