► “Young Euro Classic” starts on Friday in the Konzerthaus in Mitte!
The world’s most important youth orchestra festival, where ensembles from all over the world present classical and contemporary orchestral music, invites you for 17 days. The National Youth Orchestra of the USA, conducted by Daniel Harding, will kick off today with Elgar’s Cello Concerto, played by Alisa Weilerstein.

► The “Berlin Circus Festival” starts on Friday at Tempelhofer Feld!
The colorful world of modern circus will be shown until August 14: acrobatics, clowning, performances. At the opening, the company “Ikuemän” will perform a poetic act. There’s also art, street food and live music.

►Sunday is open-air design market on Leopoldplatz!
The Weddingmarkt has 80 stalls – from art to ceramics – street food, dance and much more to offer. For the first time there: tape artist “Tapeography”, who creates portraits with adhesive tape. From 3 p.m. there is a small introductory course in the Brazilian Forró dance. Everyone is welcome.
