In Standdaarbuiten a cat was shot dead with an air rifle. The five-month-old animal had entered a pigeon cage, after which the owner shot at least three times on the head with lead cartridges.
The cat died and was immediately buried in the pigeon owner’s yard. Several of his pigeons were injured during the cat’s visit.
Some witnesses saw what happened to the cat. The cat’s owner was notified that his cat had been killed.
Police seized the suspect’s air rifle and lead cartridges. A case has been registered against the shooter.
