A very remarkable concert last night in the Concertgebouw in Bruges. Bruges native Martijn Dendievel opens the new season as conductor of the Flanders Symphony Orchestra. He is 28 years old and already one of the great orchestra leaders in Europe. And every now and then he returns to his hometown, where he was brought up with music as a child.
