A young Berlin woman was probably killed in Hamas’ brutal terrorist attack on Israel.
According to media reports, the student Carolin B. (22) from Berlin is said to have visited Israel with her British partner Danny Darlington. There the two probably visited the Kibbutz Nir Oz on the border with the Gaza Strip on Saturday. Danny Darlington grew up here.
On the same day, the duo actually wanted to fly back to Berlin, where they both live. But the couple was then probably surprised by the Hamas terrorist attack. Their bodies are said to have been discovered a day later. Official confirmation from the Foreign Office is still pending.
Shortly before the attack, the two posted a happy selfie on Instagram. Her sister Anja Pasquesi wrote on the social network that a friend of Carolin B reported about the death of the young couple.
The grieving sister wrote: “Please give us time and space to remember our angel Caro and her beloved Danny.”
Nir Oz is one of the twelve towns that Hamas attacked on October 7th. The kibbutz is only 10 kilometers away from the venue of the “Nature Party Festival,” where the terrorist organization murdered around 260 Israeli citizens in cold blood.
