Young AZ down against ADO Den Haag despite a quick lead

Young AZ did not score any points on a visit to ADO Den Haag. Jan Sierksma’s team took the lead through Jayden Addai, but still lost big: 4-1.

After injuries, Mexx Meerdink, Wouter Goes and Lewis Schouten returned to the starting line-up of Young AZ. It was Jayden Addai, who scored within four minutes. He was given free passage and hit, his sixth goal in four matches. Jort van der Sande tied the score, after which Matteo Waem made it 2-1 before the break.

The second half went from bad to worse for Jong AZ. Van der Samde and Waem both scored another goal, making it 4-1. Jurre van Aken caused danger in the counterpunch, just like Ricuenio Kewal and Sem Dekkers. All three saw their chances were not used, so the score did not change.
