Jong AZ and Jong Ajax both won in two goal-rich duels on Monday evening. The Alkmaar talents won 4-0 against Jong FC Utrecht. The team from Amsterdam won 5-4 against Jong PSV.
In Wijdewormer, Mexx Meerdink was successful twice in the first half. After the break, Jong FC Utrecht player Achraf Boumenjal had to leave the field after his second yellow card. Fedde de Jong and Yusuf Barasi then managed to find the net for the Alkmaarders.
Young Ajax
There was also a lot of scoring in the Jong Ajax match. The Amsterdam talents won 5-4 against Jong PSV. After 34 minutes, Jong Ajax led 3-0 thanks to goals from Lorenzo Lucca, Mika Godts and Francisco Conceição.
Nevertheless, Young PSV came back to 3-2. Jenson Seet again provided a margin of two goals for Jong Ajax at the beginning of the second half. The visitors came back to 4-3 after Lucca lost the ball. Conceição made his second of the evening in the 59th minute and Isaac Babadi made it 5-4 in stoppage time.

Thanks to the win, Jong AZ climbs to tenth place in the first division. We find Young Ajax in fifteenth place.
