Young Ajax has not been able to put a stop to the championship party of Heracles Almelo. It became 2-0 for the home team in Almelo. After the second goal, the game was stopped for ten minutes because beer was thrown on the field. Nothing changed in the position. PEC Zwolle also won (3-2), but the title went to Heracles.
The result no longer mattered to the young Ajax players. The fourth period was already impossible to achieve, because they had lost to Young AZ. The start of the match, however, was for Ajax. Ar’Jany Martha had two great chances, but his bets didn’t end in goal. The sights of Samuel Armenteros were sharp moments later. He went straight to Olivier Aertssen and Thom de Graaff. The Swede then shot the ball behind De Graaff: 1-0.
Just like in the first half, there were few opportunities for either team after the break. Lucas Schoofs made the decision after seventy minutes and made it 2-0. He tapped in a cross from Emil Hansson. When celebrating the goal, beers were thrown on the field and the game was stopped. After the ten-minute break, no more goals were scored, as a result of which Jong Ajax finished thirteenth.
