Pasta carbonara is one of the fastest and simplest everyday dishes. You only need a couple of ingredients for this Italian classic, and cream isn’t one of them. An authentic carbonara does not need cream. Parmesan cheese and eggs make the pasta wonderfully juicy.

To prevent the pasta from becoming dry, add a little pasta cooking water. So remember to save it during the pasta cooking stage.

Pasta carbonara

200 g of bacon

400 g of spaghetti

3 eggs

1 dl grated parmesan

0.5 tsp of salt

0.5 tsp black pepper

1. Chop and fry the bacon.

2. Cook spaghetti in salted water. Save a splash of boiling water.

3. Mix the bacon and spaghetti together in a pan.

2. In a bowl, mix the eggs, grated Parmesan, black pepper and add to the pasta and bacon. Also add a splash of boiling water and mix well.
