Prime Minister Mark Rutte called the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Thursday an “unprecedented act of aggression, which cannot be justified in any way”. Although he emphasizes that the Netherlands is not at war with Russia, the situation is so serious that NATO is in a heightened state of readiness.
