“At this point, we already know how difficult it is to beat them and with what intensity we have to play,” said the coach.
He stressed the importance of “forget the third game” to focus on the next one
Barça’s coach, Sarunas Jasikevicius, assured that his players will have to play this Tuesday, in the fourth game of the Endesa League semifinals, with the same “intensity“than last Sunday in which they clearly prevailed in a great second half (79-90) if they intend to achieve another victory.
“By now, we already know how difficult it is to beat them and with what intensity we have to play. You have to repeat the intensity, be as together as yesterday and try to win the next game,” the Lithuanian coach told the Catalan club’s media on Monday.
Jasikevicius commented that his team “was not only good in the second half” of the third game of the series, which ended with a Barça victory, but rather “the whole game”, although he stressed the importance of “forget the third game” to focus on the next one.
“The boys have rested and have disconnected a bit. We are in an ideal hotel to do these things, a bit of recovery and see if it helps us tomorrow”, concluded the Lithuanian coach.
