The information security company McAfee warns of thirteen Android applications that, by using a hidden backdoor, criminals can in the worst case gain control of the entire device. The previously unknown Xamalicious is one of the latest malware to plague Android users. According to security company McAfee, Xamalicious has been detected in numerous applications that have been available for download from the Google Play Store.
